This year as usual we spent Christmas with lots of friends and family. On the 22nd we went to Alicia's parents' house for dinner with them, Nonna, Ian and Adalia, Tony and Uncle Mike, Aunt Mirella, Faye, Nina and Sophia who were here from Halifax. The next day my Mom and Dad hosted their annual Johnston Family Bowling (16th annual?). On the 24th we were back to my Mom and Dad's for their Christmas Eve open house, another annual event. For Christmas morning we up to Alicia parents for gifts with the same crew that was there on the 22nd, then came down to my parents for gifts with them , Ally, Scott and Andrew, Uncle Ian, Sean and Scott (and girlfriend Kayla), Grandma and Lynz. Sandra and James joined us for dinner. Charlie had a great time opening gifts, playing with the loot and spending time with everyone. Thanks to all!

Charlie's trip to Florida
On Saturday Charlie and Alicia arrived home from a trip to Fort Meyers with Nonna and Grandpa. The weather was great with temps in the low-mid eighties every day which made it great for swimming and trips to the beach and Naples Zoo.

A couple new additions!
On November 15th, a day before he was due - Andrew Grant was born at 10:42pm weighing in at a lean fighting weight of 8lbs 6.5 oz. Too cute! Congrats to all - Allison, Scott and Andrew are doing great!
On November 23rd, 2 days before she was due to arrive - Kona joined our family. She is a seven month old mixed breed hound dog. She is making the adjustment well.
Here are some pictures of Andrew, Kona, Trigger and an updated pic of Charlie!

Piano lesson
Today Charlie and I went to Nana and Papa's to install some new windows. Nana and Auntie Linda went out for a while so Gigi came over to keep Charlie out of the construction area. Charlie showed Gigi that he could stand up at the piano bench and Papa helped him up so he could tinkle the ivories for the first time. We're pretty sure that it won't be the last.

We had yet another B-day party on the week-end (Nana says Charlie must be 3 now). This one lasted all afternoon/evening and spanned 2 meals. We were very happy to see Nonna and Grandpa (thanks for the decorations and cakes); Alan, Jill, Hayley and Avery; Auntie Ally and Uncle Scott; Mel, Dave and Kavan; Cherise and Zofia; Jeff, Sara and Rachel; Murph and Karla; Nana and Popa (thanks for dinner) ,Kevin and Melissa and of course, Alicia's girls Beth and Jen!

Another B-day Party
Late Monday night Nana and Papa arrived home from their Mediterranean cruise so they hosted the Arnold birthday party for Charlie yesterday. This time we celebrated with Auntie Ally, Uncle Scott and Gigi. Although Great Uncle Ian was unable to attend, his soccer ball gift was one of the favorites. Thanks to all for the gifts.

Haircut today
I took Charlie for a haircut this afternoon. It was his 4th cut but I think it was the first time that they have used the clippers, which he hated. Both him and the hairdresser were crying by the time the work with the clippers was finished and that took all of about 45 seconds. He didn't mind the scissors so the rest went well.

Camping
In May of this year we bought a 5th wheel camper. In the summer we spent approximately 40 nights in it and drove quite a few miles. We camped mostly with our good friends the Montgomerys with visits from my parents, Grant and Donna and Alicia's parents Tim and Claudia. We spent time at McRae, Sibbald, Sandbanks and KOA Barrie among other places. We went to Letchworth State Park and Elliot Lake as a family, Wellesley Island State with the Murphy's and the Hodgins (where Charlie went golfing with us three times) and to Killbear Provincial Park with the Heasmans.

At 3 months old we took him on his first beach vacation. We visited the Mayan Coast in Mexico with a group of friends and family.
In April Charlie was baptized. Thanks to Auntie Allison and Uncle Scott for being Godparents.
In May Alicia and Charlie were back on the plane along with Nonna Claudia. They went to Halifax to visit cousins Faye, Nina and Sophia, Uncle Mike and Aunt Mirella.

First day
Thanks to Kris S for both this idea and help getting started. I have not done anything like this before so there will be a bit of trail and error to start out.
This page is an attempt to chronicle the small "adventures" of our family, the Arnolds. We are Cam and Alicia and our son is Charlie (born Oct 21st, 2006)
